Architectural Control Criteria and Form

Below is the updated 2018 (August) information document for you to review (HOA standards).

Architectural Control Criteria Information

Whenever you are considering making changes to the exterior of your home that can be seen from the street or from your neighbors you need to get prior approval. Plan ahead; it may take up to 30 days from your submitted ARC form before we notify you the outcome of your request.   Failure to get prior approval can result in costly removal efforts by homeowners.

To request approval, download the ARC form below then contact Kevin Ramirez at archreview@sabalwoods.com

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

If I’m replacing my roof, do I need to get approval?  –  Yes, even if the colors remain the same.  All roof replacement roofs should be architectural tab shingles.

If I’m painting my house do I need to get approval?– Yes, even if the colors remain the same.  If the colors are changing, provide us with a sample of the new colors along with your ARC form.

I want to remove a Tree, do I need approval?   -Yes, only if the tree is over 6” in diameter over 3’ above the ground.  We like to keep the “woods” in Sabal Woods and ask that you replant a tree when one is removed.

Are Basketball poles permitted?, – Yes, per the requirements of the ACC document.

Is overnight street parking or RV or boat parking permitted?  No, for the safety and appearance of the neighborhood this is not allowed.

I just got a letter regarding my property and it not being in compliance with the Architectural Control Criteria, what should do?   I know these letters sometimes seem a little impersonal, but they are the fairest method for us to communicate concerns regarding the appearance of your property.  We ask that you comply with the letter and if you have any questions, please contact the person who sent the letter or the Architectural Review Board Member.
